The Final Question Is on the Ballot

The final Reorganization Plan has been approved by both the Worth Township Advisory Board and the Whitestown Town Council.  A copy can be found on the Reorganization Plan page.

The fate of the plan is now in the hands of the voters.  The question “Shall the Town of Whitestown and Worth Township reorganize as a single political subdivision?” will be placed on the November 6, 2012 ballot.

For the plan to pass, it must be approved by a majority of the registered voters of incorporated Whitestown and a majority of the registered voters of unincorporated Worth Township.  If either vote is not a majority, the plan will not pass.
